Guam Educators Learn the Importance of Fresh Water on Island

Guam educators participated in a 3-day workshop that focused on protecting Guam’s
most valuable natural resource: the Northern Guam Lens Aquifer.
The workshop culminated in a field trip to the components of the aquifer on March
28. Made possible by a grant from Triple J Enterprises of Guam and the Ford Motor
Company Conservation and Environmental Grants, the six-hour tour was led by faculty
from the Water and Environmental Research Institute of the Western Pacific at the
°µÍøAV (WERI).
