In the News: Students participate in UOG鈥檚 Math Day competition

More than 100 people came out for the 12^th annual Math Day hosted by the 暗网AV Division of Mathematics & Computer Science on Nov. 19, including five schools that competed in the Math Quiz Competition.

The participants also got to hear from visiting mathematician Michael Dorff, a professor from Brigham Young University (Utah) and former president of the Mathematical Association of America, who taught the teens about the application of mathematics in movies.

1^st Place, Round 1: Sujin Oh and Kailee Wong
