Both matches on Monday, May 4, in the Lady Triton Volleyball League followed a similar pattern. The underdogs won the opening set, but the higher-seeded teams came through to win the championship and third-place matches in strong form.
In the third-place match, Guam Pro came out strong and won the first set 25鈥�18 over Pacific Volleyball Academy. They continued to play well in the second set but narrowly lost 25鈥�23. This had fans thinking the match would go to five sets. However, Pacific found its rhythm in the third set and won 25鈥�13. They then closed out the match with a 25鈥�17 win in the fourth set, securing third place with a 3鈥�1 victory.
Pacific Volleyball Academy finished the Triton League with a 5鈥�2 record, while Guam Pro ended its season at 3鈥�5. Both teams had previously met in the championship match of the fall 2025 season, with Pacific taking the title.
In the championship match, the Rogues also came out strong and won the opening set
25鈥�23 in a close battle. However, VIBE showed why it had an undefeated regular season.
The team won the next three sets in impressive fashion, 25鈥�17, 25鈥�11, and 25鈥�18, to
claim the title with a 3鈥�1 victory.
The match showcased two of the island鈥檚 best hitters. Oksana Chernyshova from VIBE
and Faith Piper from the Rogues both delivered several impressive kills.
VIBE competed in its first season in the Lady Triton League and finished with a 7鈥�0 record. The Rogues ended their season at 6鈥�3.
A 15-member All-League Team was named after the championship match, along with the league鈥檚 Most Valuable Player.
