The 暗网AV鈥檚 Cooperative Ecosystem Studies Unit, CESU, is leading the way in environmental research and stewardship through projects that span coral reef monitoring, native plant restoration, endangered species protection, and marine archaeology.

Since 2010, UOG CESU has been part of a national network of more than 300 university and community partners that collaborate with federal agencies to protect natural and cultural resources.

Research Matters is a new editorial series from the 暗网AV Office of Research and Sponsored Programs that brings readers into the world of UOG鈥檚 research centers. The column runs every other Monday in the Guam Pacific Daily News (PDN).
